It's Time to BREAK FREE!

What are you saying? Did you really just say that? Why say it IF you don’t even mean it? Do you realize that “the words of our mouths create our world” and if we wish to LIVE HEALTHY, HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS LIVES… we must guard our hearts, thoughts and tongues?

I should have written this last week, last week on Wednesday to be exact, because it was then that these questions began to form in my spirit. It was also on that date, May 22, 2012, when I allowed certain words to flow freely out of my mouth. In the book of Luke 6:45, the word of God says,” the good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth that which is evil: for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speak.” What’s happening in your heart? For whatsoever consumes your heart will soon consume your mouth.

Last week I found myself facing a very difficult challenge and on Tuesday night I wasn’t sure just what to do; so I prayed and determined in my heart that this was just a temporary situation and just as all the rest of them, this too shall pass. When I awakened on Wednesday morning I was refreshed and renewed in my mind. No longer was I thinking about the situation… I was focused on the solution. That morning’s commute was different from every other morning in that I prayed all the way there. I decreed things, spoke LIFE in every situation and for every person I know and I remember clearly calling forth the wealth transfer mentioned in Proverbs 13:22. I prayed for every person, known and unknown, whose path will lead to me or mine to theirs and as I prayed I began to “feel” my help come. I continued in this vein for the entire commute and then I began to worship and this is when I heard it. A small, still voice saying “yes”… it was as if the Lord was waiting for me to come to this place.

From that moment on, I have felt “reborn” literally. I felt as though I had just broken through some invisible shield that had me wrapped up. I equate this to the act of child-birth. There comes a time during pregnancy when the baby has to come forth. The water breaks and after a few strategic pushes, tears and pain… the baby is forced through the womb and into another world, one that he/she is not yet accustomed to ; yet, the very world he/she was designed for. The child was never supposed to live in the womb longer than the recommended 9 month period and if it did, it could cause harm to the carrier and to the child. At a particular, appointed time, the child has to come out and so it is also with spiritual babes and destinies. This is what I faced on last Wednesday. It feels as though I have broken through that barrier and I am headed to a new destination… one I’ve not yet experienced; but, it’s the very thing I was created for. I would have never before thought of myself as a babe in Christ; what after 14 years, I’d say I am a very mature Christian; however, it feels like God had to keep me in a protective barrier until He was ready to release the uniqueness of the design and purpose He has made me for so it would not be corrupted by man’s (or my) hands. Since that day (Wednesday, May 22, 2012), my rebirth day, everything that I have spoken or visualized has come to pass speedily and my FAITH has catapulted to a new level.

This is a very victorious season in the lives of believers and for the kingdom of God; however, if we are to possess our promise lands and obtain our prizes, we must be careful to stay in our rightful places. We must speak life, trust God and DO whatever HE instructs us to in this new place.

First order of business, our mouths! What are we saying? What are we singing? Do we know and understand that those lyrics we’re spitting are actually words that have the power to create or devastate our lives? We bob our heads to the beat, all the while allowing words contrary to what we believe to penetrate our hearts and to flow from our lips. It’s time to wake up; Christians are being deceived through music, television and radio waves. The enemy is subtle; but, we must always be on guard. Our children are barely being given a chance because of the blatant disrespect that is flung out promiscuously at them. The results are teenage pregnancy, bullying, disease, loss of childhoods, drugs, etc. It’s time for the chosen of the Lord to break free and come into their own so that we may come to their aide. Our children need us; they need to know that we are here for them, covering and protecting them… shielding them from every attack of the enemy.

It’s time for us to possess the lands we have been called to and given. It’s time to correct the terrible wrongs we’ve allowed in our world. It’s time to bring HOLY back, that we may live wholly and righteously in this world.

Let us come together in Unity for the sole purpose of soul-winning… it’s time for KINGDOM building. It's time for us to open our mouths and declare the ways and will of the Lord. It's time to walk in it and it's time for us to be the example in this earth of what true success is. Success is our promise, as is abundant life; we just have to accept it and do what is necessary to attain it. It is time for the children of the world to look at us Christians and see prosperous individuals, living joyously, happily and FREELY... bringing GLORY to GOD!!!

I hope you’re ready and with me because it will take all of us joined together to present a broad view of success in Christ Jesus. BREAK FREE today; let us dominate... for the kingdoms of this world are be become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ and HE (we) shall reign (victoriously) forever. Let's take this world by storm... as we BREAK FREE and LIVE FREE!!!
